Curtin College Scholarship

The Curtin College 2015 Scholarship offers eligible
students 12.5% off the published Diploma fees

To be eligible for this attractive incentive, students must:


  • have an offer packaged with Curtin University
  • be an international student, commencing a Diploma package in      2015
  • maintain a course weighted average of 50%
  • not be a current student, sponsored student or a student commencing with CRL.


The 2015 Scholarship scheme
comprises of three categories:

Merit

What? Must meet academic cut-offs as specified by Curtin College.
Which Courses? All Diploma programs (except Engineering and
Health Sciences).

Alumni & Family

What? Applicant, applicant’s sibling, applicant’s parent or applicant’s child must be member of Curtin College or Curtin’s alumni or current student at Curtin College or Curtin University and must present evidence to prove this in line with terms and conditions. Which Courses? All Diploma programs.

Australian Year 12

What? Applicant must have completed, either in Australia or overseas,
a recognised Australian Year 12 High School qualification that meets
Curtin College’s standard entry requirements (see 2015 brochure for
Curtin College programs)
Which Courses? All Diploma programs.

Sarah Bjork

We welcome SARAH BJORK as the new Center Director at ONCAMPUS SUNY at Morrisville State College.

Sarah joins us from Upper Iowa University where she was the Founding Director for their Intensive English Program. Sarah received her Masters of Art in English as a Second Language from Hamline University, St.
Paul, Minnesota after two and a half years in Tokyo, Japan. While in Japan, she learned about Japanese language and culture and taught English as a Foreign Language at a private language institute.

University of Wollongong --Sydney Campus International Student Bursary

University of Wollongong, Sydney Campus offer Bursary to all international students for enrolled in below course. This bursary would reduce approximate 18% cost of the course. There is No application require or No special documents require. It would automatically award to all students will enroll at Wollongong Sydney campus for below courses.


The scholarship applies to the following courses offered at the Sydney campus, and those majors within those courses which are offered at the Sydney campus:


• Master of Business (single major ‐ 12 subjects) • Master of Business (double major – 16 subjects) • Master of Applied Finance (12 subjects) • MBA (12 subjects) • MBA Advanced (16 subjects) • Master of Science (Logistics or Project Management – 12 subjects) • Master of Science (Logistics and Project Management – 16 subjects)

Students who commence the Graduate Certificate in Business in 2015 with a package offer with one of the above degrees will also qualify for the bursary.

2015 SYDNEY CAMPUS INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS BURSARY
TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Eligibility

The bursary is available to any international student commencing for the first time at UOW in 2015, at an eligible course at the Sydney Business School’s Sydney campus.

The bursary applies to subjects taken for any eligible course, as specified below.

Students already enrolled at an Australian campus of UOW in any session in 2014 are not eligible for the bursary.

The bursary is only for eligible courses and subjects undertaken at the Sydney campus. If a student undertakes subjects offered at any other UOW campus, he or she will no longer be eligible for the bursary.*

The holder of the bursary must remain enrolled in the degree and proceed at the minimum rate of progress (full time for an international student) in order to remain eligible for the bursary.

If the holder of the bursary defers the start of their course until 2016 or a later year, the bursary will not apply.

The bursary will not be awarded where the student is already in receipt of another UOW scholarship, sponsorship or bursary.

Value

The bursary is awarded in the form of a full tuition fee waiver of the final 2 subjects in an eligible 12‐subject Master
degree, or the final 3 subjects in an eligible 16‐subject Master degree.

Eligible course

The scholarship applies to the following courses offered at the Sydney campus, and those majors within those courses which are offered at the Sydney campus:


  •  Master of Business (single major ‐ 12 subjects)

The bursary will not be awarded to students commencing one of the above eligible courses with advanced standing (credit transfer) from any other institution or UOW campus. The bursary does NOT apply to these courses offered at the Sydney campus:

 Master of Professional Accounting
 Master of International Business

*Students studying a Master of Business double major, where one of the specialisations is only offered from the Wollongong campus, are eligible for the bursary on the condition that a maximum of the four subjects in the second specialisation are undertaken at the Wollongong campus.
